Harry

Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician and songwriter. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions to the One Direction band. He was born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England 1 February 1994, he is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former student of the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools, created a band named White Eskimo with three fellow students. The band won in 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the impressive presentation they made. Though he's been fascinated by music, he was also hoping to be an attorney or physical therapist. He worked in an area bakery on a part-time basis to support his family financially. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition in which he performed Stevie Wonder's song Is not She Lovely. Due to this, his band needed to be separated. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he join of a new band, One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group and they were created in the year 2010. The group performed songs like My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls for the prize. But they finished 3rd place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell did not win the competition. However Cowell gave Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
