Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny February 3 1950) is an American actor from the United States. Her popularity grew during the late 70s and early 1980s due to her continual appearances on a range of TV shows that featured her as an attractive actress. Fairchild was first noticed with the character Jennifer Pace in Search for Tomorrow the CBS show that aired on a daytime basis from 1973 to 1977. She starred in 1978 in the soap opera of the same name Dallas as the first actress in history to play Jenna Wade before taking a leading role on the NBC series Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama). Fairchild co-starred alongside ABC on the soap Paper Dolls during 1984 and performed the role of Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest from 1985 until 1986. Fairchild has also been seen in theater and played the role of a guest on TV shows such as Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. The actress was considered for a Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 because of her character in this drama. She serves on the Board of SAG-AFTRA.
