Lowe was at the sidelines of an FA Cup quarter-final on ESPN UK at the time Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba was struck by a heart event. She sat there for 2 hours as she supervised the programming. On the night following she appeared on the front pages of each UK newspaper. In May 2012 Lowe was the first female of UK time to be the host of an FA Cup Final - a six-hour live broadcast from Wembley Stadium. Lowe started her professional career as an anchor and reporter with Setanta Sports in 2007. She was the host of the pioneering Football Conference coverage. She was also the co-host of Football Matters setanta's Premier League program.
