Paula Patton is an actress and producer best known for her starring roles in the action-spy film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the drama film Precious. Born into the middle class family in Los Angeles and had big dreams for her future. Her mother loved films and instilled a love of films into the young girl. Paula enjoyed participating in school co-curricular activities and drama was her favorite. Paula loved acting with friends as well as participating in school productions. She performed in numerous high school plays at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as a career. She was enrolled at the University of Southern California in a summer program and thoroughly was awed by her experience. She won a three-month assignment creating documentaries for PBS. She started as production assistant for television documentaries after successfully completing her assignment. After that, she began producing documentaries. While she was happy with her work however, she longed for being an actor. In the romantic comedy Hitch she played a small part with Will Smith. Over the past few years, she's appeared in many productions and films.
