Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson in her full Kelly Brianne Clarkson was an American singer and songwriter who rose to fame after she was crowned American Idol's 2002 talent show. Clarkson was raised in Burleson Texas (a suburban area of Fort Worth), where her singing abilities were initially noticed by her seventh grade music teacher. Following her graduation from high school Clarkson moved to Los Angeles to try to get into the show business. When she returned in Texas in 2002, Clarkson participated in Fox Broadcasting Company's American Idol. This singing competition let viewers decide which singer they liked best. People were impressed by Clarkson's arresting voice, charisma, and sense of humour. Clarkson was awarded $1 million and a contract recording for RCA to be her reward.
